Cosmetic condition:

The screen is damaged. The top case is in fair overall condition with scuffs, dents, scratches, and general wear, including some semi-deep scratches that are easily visible. The sides are also in fair condition with deep scratches, dents, and wear. The ports are functional but show fair cosmetic condition from heavy use, with dings and scratches. Functionality condition:

The display powers on and functions properly; however, the screen is damaged as shown in the images. I was able to connect to a WiFi network and confirm that both WiFi and audio work by playing a video.
